MM 306 to MM 216 90 NM

Going through that Tom Bevil Lock and headed toward Demopolis! We spent the night at a great anchorage on the inside of two green markers out of the way of the barges that travel at night. The moon was full and the anchorage was perfect for holding and the barges didn’t rock us hardly at all. Anchorage at MM 238. we traveled a total of 68 NM on the 17th. The next day was only 22 NM away and we got there pretty early. I love this marina, there is a rottie there owned by a live aboard boater and she is gorgeous. The washers dryers and showers are exceptional. I give them a 10/10 for comfort atmosphere and convenience. They have a courtesy car/van there that you can use 2x a week, just stop at the marathon gas station and put a buck fifty in it and take receipt back to Anna Marie at the marina office. Believe me when i say the courtesy cars are a lifesaver when you need to get supplies. We spent two days in demopolis at KIngisher Marina using this time to perform some general maintenance and7sew some black out window covers for the master berth and make the fender blankets removable by cutting and adding velcro hook to them. Checked out the two mexican restaurants in town and love Las Fuentes which was great and La Gran Fiesta i loved the atmosphere. Check out the pics we took on the way.
