So we came into Rudder Cay last night and here we are at Rudder Cay. This island 🏝️ is owned by David Copperfield ( a famous magician in the 80s I think). The islands say no trespassing but you can sit on the beaches up to the high waterline. No one can own the water. He put a mermaid statue and piano made of stainless steel about 20 ft underwater. You can touch it at low tide if you’re snorkeling dive down and touch the piano or mermaid. So cool!! He also has one huge area made up of 11 small islands together to create one resort area. If you have a couple hundred thousand you can stay at his places for a week! We would head over to a protected cove beach anchored out about 20 ft from the beach and stepped off the dinghy into the shallow water. Walked to the beach and set up what I called my tinker toy chair. You have to put the tubes together then add the rip stop seat cover on it. I love it! Good times great friends!
