Hiking today was so much fun!

We met some people in sailboats coming to camp, on that uninhabited island. We saw a cool old airstrip that belonged to an old research center. I have seen several abandoned research centers here in the Bahamas. Funding runs out and they leave everything there to rot, it’s sad. It does cost a lot to operate and maintain any type of building on these islands too.
