I arrived in St Martin today and immediately went to eat steak with Steve and back to Big Moose to hear of Steves adventure coming back up from Grenada with one of our boat acquaintances. He left them in one of the islands and headed to St Martin to meet up with me so we could continue our adventure! On to the virgin islands!!

Today is our flight home from Grenada. It will arrive in Chattanooga on Thursday August the 22. We arrived for our flight at the airport and had no issues boarding the plane and finding our seats. I am looking forward to getting home and seeing my little buddy and doing some sewing! Ok wish us luck sleeping in the airport!

Hey people’s! Steve and I are plugged in in port St. Louis marina and just enjoying the cool air conditioned days on the boat. We were sick for a couple of weeks but are better now and getting ready for our fly home adventure! We have someone to take care of our boat and it’s easy to fly back in if we need to. POOL DAY!

Well Steve managed to pull me away from sewing for a little while to head to the pool today. The pool was great and we ate some food at the bar. The chef /cook remembered it was an American Holiday, told us we needed hot dogs and proceeded to make us gourmet hot dogs that were delicious with onions peppers and some mango pineapple on one. I have to say they were great, he said “wait” you have to have mustard and ketchup. What a cool guy and his name was Hansel. The resort was called Zoetry Marigot Bay St Lucia. Beautiful place. We played out by the pool and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings for a while.

This resort is all inclusive for those of you looking for a cool place to stay in St Lucia. You can also get a mooring ball, anchor out and stay in a slip(Mediterranean tie) of fuel dock finger dock or mega yacht finger dock. This is a mega yacht hole during season, and I got one am glad it’s not in season! Check out my pics.

SEWING DAY!

Today I got out my little sewing machine to sew up some cool crossbody fanny pack type bags. These are the type bags I made. I will be making the nautical wet bags later this week. Enjoying my down time!

Hurricane Day! Well here we are awaiting Beryl to make her arrival. Luckily our hurricane hole is amazingly safe, even in 100+ mph winds. There is a huge ship to my starboard side, and we are tied to a mega yacht dock. Since it is the off season we can do that. It is not crowded at all. We saw strong gusts of 26-30+ mph gusts. Rain and wind but nothing dangerous to us today. What is funny is that I was worried because we were late getting to Grenada for the hurricane season and then this weird out of season hurricane hits it!! One of the other islands we were going to was torn up! Praying for all of the islands hit and the people residing there. There was a lot of sailboats lost or damaged today in Grenada and Carriacou. St Lucia had some trees down and minor damage. I am thankful for those who told us about this place. Mainly Pete and Heather Wooten on Lunasea. We had to stop and check it out and for safety due to the incoming hurricane! Thanks guys! We stayed safe and comfortable here.
