Wonderful day on the Tennessee and start of the Tenn Tom. My wonderful niece Jesse took us to refurbish and shop this morning. We went to eat at Cracker Barrel and enjoyed spending time with the future mom of Leighton! Great breakfast of French Toast and scrambled eggs, and who doesn’t love to wander around and see all the cool cool stuff at the CB. Back at the dock we said our goodbye and loaded up the Big Moose to head down the river to the Tenn Tom entrance. We decided to raise the sails and check out the wind power today. The wind lasted for a little while but it was sooo nice having the sails up again and sailing along checking out the cool houses along the banks and cliffs of the river. Along the way decided to stay at the Safe Harbor Aqua Marina with some ino from our friend Captain Barry. It was a great little place and we will probably stay again. Very friendly people helped us out at the dock. M2W (an Express 46 ft) helped us out with some anchorage and marina info., thank you Mark and Mary! We ate at the marina restaurant and it was very very good, i recommend it if your ever in Iuka Mississippi. We had some fun with the very steep dock going back to the marina wondering if we had some cardboard or sled how fast we could get to bottom. This marina has a great place to wash clothes and showers were average. That is it for today stay tuned for more adventures some greater than others.
